7 Best Minecraft Badlands Seeds You Shouldn't Miss

Home to the armadillo and a bunch of gold, Badlands are a unique biome in Minecraft. But, due to an amazingly rare spawn rate, it can take forever to find them. So, let’s eliminate the search altogether and explore the best Minecraft Badlands seeds!

Best Minecraft Badlands Seeds (2024)

You can use all the seeds on our list to get the Badlands biome on both editions of Minecraft. But the location of structures and mobs is subject to change.

1. First Badlands Village

Out of all the biomes in Minecraft, only a handful have their unique villages. Unfortunately, the Badlands aren't one of them. But, that doesn't mean they can't borrow a village from their neighbors. That's exactly what happens in our first seed.

It generates a desert village on the edge of a Badlands biome. The villagers get to enjoy the best of both worlds alongside iconic scenery. Meanwhile, you get the safety of the villages right next to easy access to various mineshafts and gold ore.

  • Edition: Java

2. Three Ancient Cities in One

Putting your search for the Warden to end, this amazing Minecraft seed spawns a massive deep dark area beneath badlands. Thanks to this huge biome, you get three ancient cities seamlessly merged into one another. There are even three portal-like structures in each of them.

Finding such a unique structure generation is close to impossible. Plus, the best part is that all of it exists right beneath your spawn point. So, you can just spawn in and start digging beneath your feet. But, make sure you know how to defeat the Warden in Minecraft before you begin.

  • Edition: Java

3. A Warming World

If you are a fan of hot biomes in Minecraft then this Badlands seed is perfect for you. It spawns you on a stony shore that is surrounded by chunks of desert and badlands biome. This spot is quite rare because these biomes usually appear away from the ocean.

Moreover, the arid biomes cover an area of thousands of blocks. You can use this wasteland for massive builds or to make a caravan of camels in Minecraft. Just make sure to keep yourself hydrated out there.

  • Seed: 37693902
  • Edition: Java/Bedrock

4. Survival Island in Minecraft Badlands Seeds

Pushing the challenging terrain of Badlands to a new level, this Minecraft seed spawns you on a survival island. For hundreds of blocks, there is nothing but an empty ocean looking back at you. Moreover, a lot of the underground areas are also waterlogged and hard to access.

So, unless you can get a Potion of Water Breathing early in the game, getting resources will be a challenge. Not to forget, the area has no trees or reliable food sources. This leaves you at the mercy of fishing or swimming for hours in a random direction.

  • Seed: 103582616
  • Edition: Java/Bedrock

5. Pyramid in Red Sand

Giving the dull landscape of deserts a break, this seed generates a desert pyramid inside the Badlands. As you might expect the structure stands out a lot within the red sand. But, it doesn't affect the underground loot and the TNT that the pyramid holds.

If you keep digging, you might also find a mineshaft beneath this pyramid. Though, as impressive as it might be, our Minecraft lush cave seeds have a pyramid that spawns inside the caves. Don't miss out on that either!

  • Seed: 34564139
  • Edition: Java/Bedrock

6. An Abandoned Landscape

When you spawn in this world, there is a mineshaft entrance facing you. You can choose to explore that or turn back and enjoy a beautiful mountainous landscape. On top of this range of mountains are wooded badlands with an array of trees.

If you don't plan on climbing yet, there is even a zombie village next to your spawn point. But, make sure to explore it during the day only. Otherwise, you might end up with the duty to cure zombie villagers in Minecraft.

  • Edition: Java

7. Largest Wooded Badlands in Minecraft Seeds

Most players avoid visiting the badlands due to a lack of wood and other food resources. But, this isn't true for their lesser-known wooded variant. In the wooded badlands, you get hundreds of trees in a massive open field, just like our final seed.

Due to a leveled path and a lower amount of hostile mobs, it is even better than many jungles of Minecraft. Moreover, since this biome always appears on top of mountains, you get a breathtaking view of your surroundings as a bonus.

  • Edition: Java/Bedrock

With that, you are now ready to explore the red fields of the Badlands biome. But, make sure to start growing crops in Minecraft as soon as you get a chance. Even though this biome is famous for gold, food can be a bit hard to find. Not to forget, you can’t even find any villages in Minecraft’s badlands. Similar to Minecraft PvP servers, that leaves you with your survival skills only. So, good luck, and start exploring!
