What are Trail Ruins in Minecraft 1.20

The Trail Ruins are a new archaeology-based Minecraft structure that spawns semi-hidden in the overworld. They are the ideal place to find suspicious gravel and uncover a bunch of rare loot quite quickly. But that is only if you are able to spot it within your world.

In terms of appearance, the entire structure looks similar to a lost or buried village from the ancient world. But, most of the Trail Ruins structure is usually hidden beneath the ground. You can only spot a few of its blocks above the ground that mark the tip of the Trail Ruins.

What Can You Find in Trail Ruins

If you are going to look for this rare structure it has to be worth all the efforts you take. So, let's go over all the blocks, items and loot you can expect to find here.

Blocks of Trial Ruins

At its core, each Trail Ruins structure is made up of iron bars, ladders, cobblestone, bricks, variants of stones, stone bricks, mud bricks, terracotta, and glazed terracotta. However, because this structure is buried, most of its parts are covered with gravel, dirt, coarse dirt, and importantly, suspicious gravel.

If you plan on creating a base within Minecraft 1.20, deconstructing this structure is the easiest way to get all the building blocks you need. Furthermore, you can also find a bunch of utility blocks in it including Blast Furnace, Cauldron, Furnace, Stonecutter, and Smithing Table.

Loot of Trail Ruins
