You have to protect your bed, while trying to kill enemies, without the bed, you can't respawn!
Each base has a spawner from which you can collect different ingots, there are also two two hips, from these you can buy almost everything you will need in the game, including blocks to build towards the islands and protect your bed, weapons, armor and even upgrades to the base. These can give you the edge when enemies try to fight on your island by slowing them down, blinding them or even a radar so you know when they are trying to sneak up on you!
To get more power-ups you have to go to the other islands where you can find Diamond and Emerald spawners.
