Playing single-player Minecraft is fun, but once you run out of things to do, it is a good idea to look towards the multiplayer experience Minecraft offers. After all, how long can you play in solitude? It gets boring after a point, and playing with your friends In Minecraft is one of the best experiences. Plus, multiplayer Minecraft is a great place to make new friends as well!
Minecraft is a very unique game when it comes to multiplayer; the company itself doesn't control multiplayer servers; instead, many third-party companies manage and run their own servers. Although Minecraft has started entering this field now, the most popular server still are the third-party servers, where many players log in daily to play!
These third-party companies have created phenomenal servers, and you’ll have a great time playing on them. But if you’re new to this community, you’ll be overwhelmed by the number of servers that are out there. Millions of people have created their own servers; how will you choose the best one to play on?
While many players in the Minecraft community might have their own favorite server when you judge these servers based on their features, accessibility, community, support, and many other relevant factors Hypixel server comes out on top! And many would agree with this statement, and many might not, but let me explain why I think Hypixel is the best Minecraft server!
Why Hypixel?
The Hypixel server has been a part of the Minecraft multiplayer space for more than 9 years. It started its operation in 2013, and since then, it has shown no signs of slowing down. It has been in this space for so long that it has become iconic in its own right, and rightfully so, it is one of the legends in this space, an OG, if you will.
The reason why I think it is the best server in Minecraft is because of several factors, one of which is the community. The server always has thousands of players online playing different games, so you’ll always find something fun to do when you hop on this server. The server is also very well optimized; you and your friend can spend hours without lag.
The games the server offers are just crazy. As of now, the server has 19 different games that you can play! Most of the servers don’t even have half of what Hypxiel has. And all these games are great, some might be more popular than others, but almost every game on their menu is excellent.
The quality and gameplay can’t be beaten on Hypixel; they are professional people and know how to run this business. In fact, they are so good that they’re making their own Minecraft-inspired game called Hytale; you might’ve heard about it!
Many servers came close to this spot, especially Wynncraft, which is one of the best MMORPG servers in Minecraft. But due to a lack of end-game stuff, I decided to put Hypixel on the number spot.
Now that I’ve made my case for why Hypixel is the best server let’s take a look at the best games that you can play!

Bed Wars
Calling Bed Wars a great game will be an understatement for its value, the best way to describe this game is by using the word Iconic! Bed wars are the game that almost every Minecraft player has played or at least heard about in the Minecraft gaming experience. The game always has tens of thousands of players online.
The game might be similar to egg wars on cube craft, but it is way better than it right now. The upgrade system that bed wars have added to the game makes it a very addicting game.s The goal is straightforward, protect your bed m while trying to destroy your opponent's bed, a simple concept on paper, a great game when executed perfectly!
SkyWars
Sky wars is a game mode that isn’t exclusive to the Hypixel server, many have tried out their own version of the game, and the Hypixel skywars mode is one of the best ones out there. The game's goal is simple, you or your team spawn on an island, your goal is to be the last man or team standing on the island.
Hypixel spices up this formula by adding the angel of death. On each kill, you will be awarded a soul, which can be used to unlock new kits and perks to improve your chances of survival. The game, just like bed wars, is an iconic Minecraft mini-game, and many love it because of the simplicity it offers.
Cops and Crims
Based on the massively popular Counter-Strike games, Cops and Crims is the definitive FPS shooting experience in Minecraft. It is the best FPS shooter game I’ve played in Minecraft, the action-packed gameplay is enough for me to put this one on the list. The game tries to be very similar to CS, and CS players would love this unique combination of Minecraft and CS.
Mega Walls
If you like to play in teams, Mega walls will blow your mind away. The game has two modes; you can either play in the normal mode, where 4 teams of 25 players battle each other or the face-off mode, where 2 teams of 20 players each face off. Either way, you’ll have the time of your life playing this mini-game.
The first few minutes when the game starts are spent gathering resources and building defenses, but once the wall drops, it’s all-out war! You have to try to save your wither while killing the enemies wither. Once the wither is destroyed, the players can’t respawn, paving the way for your victory!
The game is really intense; most of the time, you’ll end up on the losing side. But when you win, it is so rewarding; you’ll get hooked on it for hours and hours every day! Make sure to coordinate with your team; it is a crucial aspect of the game; without it, you’ll lose instantly.
Build battle
If you’re more of a builder than a PvP player, this game is just the right one. Build battle has recently become really popular amongst the players as it tests the builder's limits. You’ll be given a theme, and you’ll be tasked with building the best possible build according to that theme; after you’re done building, a vote takes place in which, if you have the highest score, you win.
This game mode is unique, and many new players should give it a try, especially if you really enjoy building. Even if you get bored of playing this mode, there is yet another mode in which you have to guess what the player is building as fast as you can to win. The mode force you to be creative and, most importantly, imaginative.
Warlords
Warlords is probably the most fantastic PvP option on Hypixel at the moment. I was having doubts with Hypixel over Wyybcraft for this article because of the amazingly detailed armors and new weapons that the server gave you. Still, Warlords adds a lot of stuff like that to the game.
Warlords isn’t a single game; it actually has three different modes, Capture the flag, Domination, and my favorite, Team Deathmatch. You won’t get bored even for a second in this mini-game; the Hypixel team has gone above and beyond this one; they’ve added a lot of cool weapons, sounds, and resource packs that make the game one of the best in this category.
Smash Heroes
This might be a copy of a popular game, but it is one excellent copy. Smash Heroes is the game I've played the most, and rightfully so, I’m the type of person who likes his games action-packed, and Smash Heroes is the most action-packed game on the Hypixel server. It is so much you can do for your hero in this game. The customization option just makes the game even more fun.
The variety of skills this game offers will surely entice the PvP battler in you, plus the controls aren’t tough to learn. Most of the time to get good at a fighting game, there’s a steep learning curve; well, no, you can start kicking some ass as soon as you learn some powerful skills!
Arcade Games
Arcade games might not be the most nuanced min-games on this list, but they are fun to play when you just want to spend some time away from your studies or work. Most of the games on this list will take some time to complete, but Arcade games allow you to play small mini-games that are fun and get on with your work.
